Update: As of year 2023, Tamp Cafe has 4 branches, the other 3 are located at Unit 105 Banilad Town Center, 11 Wilson St, Apas, and R. Arcenas St. Cebu City.
The above image is Tamp Cafe at Paseo Arcenas arcade, R. Arcenas St. Cebu City. It’s a 2-storey cafe though the second floor is a mezzanine.
The beautiful black and white industrial style building with large glass windows draws the attention of the cafe goers of Cebu, the Tamp Cafe & Co located at No. 12 President Aguinaldo Street, Cebu City. The cafe is on the 1st floor or ground floor of the building while the second floor is for The Pelican Event Hall.
Tribya: Tamp is the tool used by the barista to compact or flatten the coffee grounds in the portafilter.
Since this is a cafe so I assume that’s where they got their name.
From above menu it starts from Php 125 to about Php 380, so for a meal just budget around Php 600 to Php 800. Don’t worry, their food are all worth it (this is based on my personal taste and opinion). When I went there I ordered the White Truffle Pasta and their Tamp Signature Chocolate.
